This litter merges the portability of a roll up carrier with the rigidity of a rigid basket type platform. Integrated struts prevent buckling and unwanted pressure on the patient during movement, while the roll up construction allows compact storage and rapid deployment. Eight stainless steel triangular lifting plates are permanently affixed, each with three grommets for fixation and accessories, enabling secure connections for hoisting, litter straps and patient packaging. The design supports a smooth change from horizontal to vertical orientation during a hoist, and the size fits into confined spaces including aircraft cabins, narrow shafts and tight urban environments where larger carriers cannot go.
