The Philips HeartStart OnSite/Home Adult Training Pads Cartridge (Product ID: 861293) is an essential accessory designed to facilitate effective AED and CPR training. Compatible with both the HeartStart OnSite and Home AEDs, as well as the OnSite/Home Trainer, this cartridge enables users to simulate real-life emergency scenarios without delivering actual shocks, ensuring a safe and educational experience.
Upon installation into the AED, the device enters training mode, suspending its ability to deliver a shock. This feature allows users to engage in any of the eight pre-configured training scenarios, complete with voice instructions and CPR guidance, enhancing preparedness for actual emergencies. The cartridge includes a removable clear protective lid with a handle, a resealable film cover, and a pair of reusable adhesive pads that can be applied to manikins or training aids.
Each package comes with an Adult Pads Placement Guide and illustrated instructions for installing the cartridge, utilizing the placement guide, and repackaging the components after use. For training on manikins, an external manikin adapter (sold separately) can be connected to the cartridge.
