Lightweight Protection That Reduces Fatigue

Designed for front line responders who operate long shifts in high stress environments, the EPIC Responder Plus Helmet delivers certified ballistic protection while staying substantially lighter than a standard ACH helmet. That reduced mass lowers neck strain and improves mobility for EMS, tactical medics, and law enforcement personnel during prolonged operations. The helmet comes configured with the EPIC Air liner system and Cam Fit retention, so clinicians and operators can focus on casualty care, navigation, and mission tasks instead of equipment discomfort. The front cover plate allows quick attachment of mission essential accessories without compromising fit or stability on the head.

Advanced Liner and Retention Technology

The EPIC Air liner system includes three impact liners positioned at the front, crown, and rear, plus five thin comfort pads made from antimicrobial wicking fabric, all built around proprietary Zorbium foam to manage energy and reduce blunt force effects. The Cam Fit retention system offers rapid, tool free adjustment for secure, repeatable fit across a wide range of head shapes. The helmet is tested to NIJ IIIA standards and meets ACH Gen II blunt impact criteria, delivering a balance of impact mitigation and ballistic performance that teams rely on in contested environments.

Built With High Performance Materials

The shell uses Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene, UHMWPE, offering high strength to weight ratio and durability under operational stress. The shell features no thru hole construction for the retention system, preserving ballistic integrity across mounting points. Ballistic performance includes 9mm BFD under 25.4 mm and a 17 grain V50 equal to or greater than 2560 feet per second. A ten year warranty on the ballistic shell and a one year warranty on liners, retention hardware, accessory rails, shroud, and exterior finish reflect the tested quality and rugged construction expected in tactical medical deployments.

It ships ready with a front cover plate and supports accessory rails and shroud attachments, enabling lights, communications, and mission specific gear.
