Every item in the X-PAK is arranged to support quick assessment and treatment. The kit includes two C-A-T tourniquets for rapid extremity control, a QuikClot bleeding control dressing for junctional or compressible wounds, a responder ETD for large open injuries, and compressed gauze for direct pressure. Multiple adhesive dressings, wound closure strips, and petrolatum gauze support wound management, while two survival blankets and burn dressings address hypothermia and thermal injury. The internal organization speeds access when seconds count, and the contents are selected to treat the highest risk conditions encountered on remote outings.
