Exit wound has exposed fat and wound site ecchymosis. Variable bleeding rate. Responds to both peripheral and junctional tourniquet application and femoral pressure point application. Leg amputation presents with peripheral wound site ecchymosis, exposed sub-q fat layer and muscle striation.
