The outer cover is constructed from a Nomex and Kevlar blend, combining flame resistance with mechanical strength for demanding conditions. Nomex provides heat resistance and energy absorption to improve safety around heat sources, while Kevlar adds abrasion and tear resistance for extended service life in the field.
