Helios System With Active Warming
When addressing a patient's needs, monitoring for hypothermia is near the top of the list. Hypothermia is one leg of the lethal triad (acidosis, hypothermia, and coagulopathy) - prevention and management of this condition can improve patient survivability (on the other-hand, mismanagement can complicate treatment processes and reduce the likelihood of positive outcomes).
The Helios® System is an active warming solution to address hypothermia concerns. It incorporates an active heating panel and a casualty bag for heat retention. The combination creates a warm micro-climate for the patient, regardless of the environment. The bag allows patient accessibility to maintain monitoring throughout the course of care.
