CPR Rate Advisor

During CPR the 450P reads the compression rate through the pads already on the chest, so there is no puck or extra sensor to place. Voice and visual prompts tell the rescuer to push faster or slower. The rate feedback is for adult patients.

Readiness reported over Wi-Fi

The AED tests itself every week. The Gateway sends each result, including a low battery, over your Wi-Fi to LIFELINKcentral AED Program Manager, which also tracks Pad-Pak expiry dates across one or many locations.

Semi-automatic: the rescuer presses Shock

The 450P analyzes the heart rhythm and, when a shock is advised, tells the rescuer to press the Shock button. If you want an AED that delivers the shock itself, the fully automatic 360P Gateway Connected does that, without CPR Rate Advisor.

One cartridge, one expiry date

The pads and the battery come together in one Pad-Pak cartridge, good for 4 years from its manufacture date. A new Pad-Pak holds more than 60 shocks at 200J or 6 hours of use. It is single-use, so replace it after a rescue or by the date on its label.

Small and sealed

With the Pad-Pak and Gateway attached it weighs 2.83 lb and measures 9.21 x 7.25 x 1.9 in. The IP56 rating means it is protected from dust and strong water jets, not submersion. Store it between 32°F and 122°F (0°C to 50°C).

Use on children

Adult shocks are 150J, 150J, then 200J. With a Pediatric-Pak (sold separately) in place of the adult Pad-Pak, it delivers 50J shocks for children 1 to 8 years old or up to 55 lb.

What it costs to keep ready

The AED has an 8-year limited warranty and the Gateway a 2-year limited warranty. Over 8 years, plan on about two replacement adult Pad-Paks (the one in the box expires 4 years from its manufacture date), one more after any rescue, and Gateway batteries (four CR123A cells). There is no separate AED battery to buy.

How it compares

The 350P is semi-automatic with voice and visual CPR coaching, and the 360P is the fully automatic version. The 450P adds CPR Rate Advisor. Each comes as a standard model or a Gateway Connected one; the standard 450P is the same AED without the Gateway, so you check its readiness on the unit yourself.
